The production for which the choir seeks funds should be centered on music that teaches the doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Programming should primarily increase faith in Jesus Christ.
The choir will be required to provide a written statement to the Foundation outlining its plans to engage its musicians in building community. At the end of the production, the choir will offer written documentation on the positive impact that its community-building efforts had on volunteers.
The Foundation will work with choir leadership to determine the grant amount based on (a) the choir's pro forma budget for its upcoming production season, as well as (b) the choir's typical operating expenses. Choirs must be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits to receive grant money.
