Actors, instrumentalists, and crew members who served in Nauvoo as Performing Missionaries during Summer 2024 are eligible to apply. At least one $500 cash scholarship will be awarded. Money must be used for educational expenses.
Applicants will be required to submit a statement demonstrating financial need. This is usually satisfied by the inability to work for four months while serving in Nauvoo.
Applications are due by August 24, 2024, at 11:59 p.m., and will be adjudicated by a panel of artists and musicians independent from the Foundation. Scholarship decisions will be rendered by September 14 and monies will be distributed shortly thereafter.
